How To Get to Oceanside?

Oceanside is centrally located on the East Coast of Vancouver Island. It encompasses the Coastal area North of Nanaimo from Nanoose Bay, Parksville, Qualicum Beach and North to Bowser. Whether you arrive by air, land, or sea, you will be treated to a stunning mix of mountain, coastal, and rural scenery.

Fly in on direct, regularly scheduled air service from Vancouver; set sail on one of many ferries commuting from the mainland (from Vancouver area to Nanaimo or Victoria, or Washington State to Southern Vancouver Island); drive the new Inland Island Highway and turn onto Highway 19A - the scenic Oceanside Route; take the Vancouver Island/Laidlaw bus, or catch the historic VIA E&N Railiner from Victoria.

Qualicum Beach Municipal Airport is home to Parallel Aviation (charter airline) and KD Air. Both operate regular daily service to and from the South Terminal at Vancouver International Airport. In addition, Air Canada has connections from Vancouver into Nanaimo Regional Airport, just a 45-minute drive from Parksville/Qualicum.
